BRUNO BORIS

Determination. Founding partner of the firm, he never had any doubts about his area of expertise. Determined to specialize in the business area, since his first years as an undergraduate at Mackenzie University, Bruno directed not only his studies, but also his internship periods to law firms and companies specialized in both litigation and advisory law related to business.

Such an assertive trajectory would never go unnoticed. So much so that after graduation he received proposals from large firms seeking to develop areas requiring specialized knowledge, but that can pass this knowledge on to clients simply and transparently.

This new experience – providing technical services, made accessible to clients – led to the motivation to transform people through knowledge, naturally leading to an interest in teaching. He began to teach at Mackenzie University in 2007, where he is still a professor, having contributed to the success of thousands of students.

Teaching in the business area at University, combined with the hustle-and-bustle of the law firms where he has worked, helped to build his entrepreneurial spirit. This encouraged him to create his own firm, with the other partners, and offer a personalized service, because having worked in large corporations, he knows exactly what the client needs.

The determination and fluidity seen in his trajectory mean that the pleasure he takes in developing his craft can be felt in his classrooms, when advising his clients and team, and in moments of leisure spent with his family.

ANDRÉA CARLA MARTINS DE MORAES

Responsibility. Her responsible, dynamic and organizational personality has always made her stand out in her career. Her potential was recognized early on, while still at college. Even as an intern she already had a whole team under her responsibility. She has remained in leadership positions ever since, which has given her a broad understanding of the main mechanisms needed to improve the functioning of the teams she has worked with.

Her previous experience brought her not only the dynamism to define strategies for solving complex cases, but also the realization that her career would only be fully successful with the creation of a unique firm. This firm would be one in which high productivity and technical quality are not antagonistic, but walk hand-in-hand, and reveal themselves through a unique service, where the partners pay careful attention to every case.

This spirit of entrepreneurship, built on conscientiousness and quality, had already grown sufficiently that she did not hesitate to accept the proposal of Bruno Boris - with whom she had worked for more than five years - to found the law firm that was already waiting for the right time to be born.

Speaking of birth, her trajectory again demonstrated a false antagonism, as it was during this moment of full professional achievement that her greatest personal achievement came to be, the motherhood she had long dreamed of. This contributed to her professional performance, further sharpening her ability to solve more complex cases, as well as her attentive and receptive outlook, helping her to establish clear, swift and effective communication.

Communication is the basis of everything. Guided by this knowledge, her work now actively permeates all areas of the firm. It focuses on the creation of practical mechanisms that bring together case management with the rules and procedures of its clients. To achieve this, she uses technology to ensure effective communication, encouraging the team to keep the firm’s internal system and the clients' own systems constantly up-to-date. This also involves developing workflows that not only contemplate deadlines, but also review the parts, propositions and procedural strategies, subject of the partners ongoing dialogue, and defining the best solutions.

VICTOR CROCE

Technology. A family profession. He could not have had any other destiny. Since a very young age he had been surrounded by Law, with his father and his brothers all being lawyers.

Having joined the family law firm, he specialized in Real Estate Law, working in large companies, banks and law firms. At this point he decided to devote part of his time to uniting Law with two of his passions, technology and football, becoming a diligent scholar of Sports Law and Digital Law. During his career he has worked directly with Real Estate Law, Digital Law, and Banking and Payments Regulation. He also has extensive experience in Due Diligences, as well as in-depth knowledge of people management and operational flows (training and capacity-building for legal teams) and Litigation Management.

TAUNAI GONÇALVES MOREIRA

Vocation. His relationship with Law began long before college. Inspired by the profession of his grandfather, as well as his mother, who worked as a lawyer for many years, he ensured that his family would have a third generation of lawyers.

During college, he interned at a firm specialized in Corporate Labor Law, where he provided litigation and advisory work for companies. At this time, he conducted pioneering work in what is now widely known as labor compliance, in order to help companies to meet legal standards, reducing risk and future losses.
Always dedicated to his profession, he specialized in Labor Law, Business Law and Compliance.

With extensive knowledge of the labor field and ingrained with the issues involved in defending the most vulnerable party in this area - the complainant - he began to work in one of the largest firms providing legal defense for bankers.

Having focused on labor law since college, he felt the urge to expand his knowledge to include another area of law. This led him to work with Real Estate Law, where he was responsible for the entire rental and billing portfolio of one of the most renowned real estate companies in Brazil. With the birth of his son, he realized that it was time to return to the area where he felt most comfortable and secure. Since then, he has remained in the labor area, working in a bank until he was invited by Bruno Boris to join his firm.

At Bruno Boris Advogados, he saw the opportunity to harness his knowledge to the fullest, not being restricted only to a single area of law. Although he is responsible for the areas of Labor Law and Real Estate Law, he has also had the opportunity to work with Consumer Law and Civil Law, making his experience as a Lawyer increasingly profitable, useful and enjoyable.

YURI FERNANDES LIMA

Innovation. A veteran of large law firms, Yuri has worked to assist national and multinational clients in the area of Business Law since his first year of college, while still an intern, focusing on strategic litigation and legal audits. In parallel with this work, which he has always enjoyed, he has always felt a strong need to contribute towards a more egalitarian and fairer world. He has been involved in volunteer work since elementary school at Colégio Santa Cruz School, where he participated in a group that volunteered in nursing homes, day care centers and slums. He would visit the nursing homes and spend afternoons with the elderly.

As a lawyer, he has worked with numerous NGOs. For example, for years he worked at the Canguru Institute, where he sponsored lawsuits to compel the State to provide medicine to poor children with metabolic diseases. For many years, he was an environmental educator at SOS Mata Atlântica, participating in actions to raise awareness of preserving what remains of this biome.

In the last few years Yuri has focused on animal protection, becoming a vegan and completing a Master's degree in Animal Law at the Federal University of Bahia. His dissertation was published as a book by Editora Juruá Publisher. He is now studying for a PhD in Law at the Federal University of Paraná and is a professor of postgraduate courses in Animal Law, as well as a lecturer, consultant and researcher in the area.

Thus, in addition to being an expert in Business Law, a subject that he has also lectured on at Universities, he is also an expert in Animal Law. The addition of this area to Bruno Boris Advogados’ portfolio has been attracting increasing interest from clients and occupies a prominent role in the firm.
